Tuesday Morning Sketches #354

Here's what I made for Tuesday Morning Sketch #354. It's a fab sketch by Debbie.  Our sponsor this week is Pink & Main  they have some wonderful stamp sets so you will for sure want to check them out right after you head on over to TMS and play along!!  Be sure and also check out what our Design Team created and leaving a little love would me MUCH appreciated by any of us.

I also made one for Color My Heart Color Dare #195.  I confess these are both TOTAL cheater cards!  I used the pre-printed cards from the Close to My Heart Calypso paper packet and the coordinating compliments. I feel a little guilty that there's no stamping, unless I decide to stamp something on the inside.  It's not like it didn't take effort to put it together though.  My goodness I had the bow on my twine sliding around all over the place on the flamingo card and I didn't like how it looked anywhere on the front because the card is already so busy, so it ended up inside.  I backed the hello with craft foam and adhesive because it was really thin and it gave it just the right amount of dimension.

I made this one to play along over at Color My Heart Color Dare #195.  Thanks for stopping by :o)

Freshly Made and Color Throwdown

ARRRGGHH, I struggle so much with the lighting in my hobby room I could just spit!!!  Here's what I made to play along over at Freshly Made Sketches 238 and Color Throwdown 394 - gosh I love these challenges.  The stamp is Close to My Heart (only $3.95 set of 2) and all the other doodads I had in my stash, all several years old.  I'm really trying to use my stuff before I get certified as a hoarder. I only wish I was kidding about that LOL.

The paper is from DCWV baby boy pack a while back, the brads from The Girls Paperie and the other accents from Heidi Grace.  Oh yes and I used a Martha Stewart punch for the flowers.  I tell you  I do have quite a collection, between my sweet family who knows I love all this and what I purchase myself, plus being a CTMH consultant for almost 20 years I have a LOT!!!

P.S. I totally forgot to link this up to both of the sketches....my bad. :o(

MOJO Monday 449 & CTMH Happy Times Paper Packet

Had a chance to play along over at MOJO Monday 449 this week - so FUN!!

The cool Rose Gold foil tape from Close to My Heart was a little tricky to photograph but I sure do love it.  I used a flower from Recollections that I've had for a long time. The sweet Happy Birthday stamp is part of a cute little mini set that is only $3.95  it includes this sentiment and another one that says Birthday Wishes with some little stars.  Here's what else I used all from Close to My Heart and available on my site pattir.ctmh.com

Happy Times Paper Packet - available only through May 31.
Cotton Candy Ink
White Daisy Card Stock
Woodgrain Embossing Folder (no longer available)

Tuesday Morning Sketches #353

Well HAPPY Tuesday!!  I hope your week is already off to a terrific start!

Here's my card for Jessi's fab sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches #353.  It was kind of funny I was in a little of a creative funk so I just shuffled through my little bin of already made bits & pieces and low and behold I had these two panels. It took some thinking but I did remember the cards that I was making at the time that I put these together and just didn't get them all used up I guess.  I also had the circle already cut out and I seem to keep using buttons and using buttons but I can hardly tell any are gone I have so many!!  Buttons seemed to be a good fill for the left over space from using my leftovers that weren't exactly the right size for either a A2 or 5 x 7 card.

I hope you don't mind me using my "Smiles" stamp so often, I'm just in love with it that's all.  Now how about you shuffling through your little bin of do dads and make a card to play along this week over at Tuesday Morning Sketches??!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #352

Hi you!!  Well sure now I act all nice and everything but to tell you the truth I was mad and pouty when I created these cards - lol.  For some reason when I get that way sometimes I work really fast and that was the case here. I'll post the rest of the cards later in the week.

This great sketch by Melissa over at Tuesday Morning Sketches really got me going in a positive direction. I just loved it and it was easy to cut multiples all at once so that was why it went so quick.

Be sure to head on over to Tuesday Morning Sketches and check our what the rest of the design team created - they're sure to get your creative juices flowing and then I hope you play along too. Oh yes and of course there's going to be a give-away, it's 3 digital images over at Crafty Sentiments

I sponsored @ Tuesday Morning Sketches #351

Well I'm sure glad you stopped by and I hope you'll be inspired by (by my good and not so good cards) to play with us over at Tuesday Morning Sketches #351.  Selfishly, I'm even more hopeful that you'll play along this week because I made the sketch and I'm sponsoring the prize - it's a stamp set and a little pack of embellishments.

I'll confess the only reason I ended up making so many cards was because I didn't like the first two (3 actually but one is in the trash) you'll see the other two tolerable ones below at the very end after you see the 3 that I think turned out ok.

I used an Avery Elle set of stamps and dies I got from Simon Says Stamp.  Along wth some Close to My Heart stamps, Penelope Paper and watercolors.

Ok now it's your turn to play over at Tuesday Morning Sketches!! At the very least I hope you head on over and check out what our amazing Design Team created & leave them some love.  Thanks so much for stopping by :o)

Tuesday Morning Sketches #350

Here we are again, another week bites the dust!!  Gosh it was a quick week.

Here's what I made with this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketches #350.  I really thought I was going to only do one card this time but I just couldn't resist!!  I kept them really easy and just used the same sentiment for all because I know it's one that I can use a lot of.

I hope you head on over and check out the rest of the team's wonderful creations and also that you get a chance to play along too.  Our sponsor is Digital Delights so as always there's a nice prize that you just might win - but you know the deal . . . you can't win if you don't play, lol!!
