Tuesday Morning Sketches #586

 Happy Christmas week!!!

I do love Christmas but I must admit I let my joy get robbed (I rob it from myself!!) and have been a little woe is me because I have no family to be with this year and I have spent only one Christmas with family out of the last 6 Christmas’s including this year. I’m going to have to make a big effort to change that next year.

Can you believe it is our last challenge for 2020???!!! We always run the last one as “Anything Goes” each year.  I was positively sure that I was going to make it my tradition to make scrapbook pages for this challenge each year but this year I’ve had no mojo and no time.  Not sure why because I used to have an even busier life than I do now but maybe it is just my age or something slowing me down.

I promise these cards are much cuter in person - they look like chalkboard art.  I just used an old embossing folder I think it was Cricut but I’m too lazy to dig through the pile of mess on my craft table to find it. Then I rubbed the raised part with white embossing ink and used Lawn Fawn glow in the dark embossing powder.  That big mess on my table probably has a lot  to do with my lack of mojo too.

I tried to get a good photo of the glow in my dark closet.  Haha it was kind of funny I’ve never tried a “nite” photo with my new phone and it told me to hold still when I was taking it lol!! Believe me I tried to hold still but you’ll see the pic that was the best I could do.

I decided to add a little painting I did a few months ago also I really need to make a card out of it for my sister.

I hope you have a very merry everything and happy Christmas too!!

**Annual Anything Goes**
**runs from 12/22 to 1/3**

Tuesday Morning Sketches #585

Hi & happy Tuesday!!

I’m a little nervous to hear what you think of what I did with this fun Tuesday Morning Sketch #585.  Whenever I do something a little different I think is this ok or is it just dumb?

I do think I like these and they were so much fun to create.  I actually cut all the correct sizes of paper and traced them onto watercolor paper and painted.  Then I grabbed my metallic Tül pens-such a pleasure.  I hope they’re ok I made a set of them I have them in mind for my sis-x-love.  I wanted to keep a minimalist look and didn’t add any embellishments. Tell me the truth (I can handle it!) what do you think?

This is a fun out of the box sketch, our team did amazing with it.  I can hardly wait to see what you make!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #584

 Hello!

I hope this Tuesday finds you happy & healthy!  I left out a couple elements on this Tuesday Morning Sketches #584 because my cute little elephant is pretty ornate and I didn’t want a lot competing with it.

My first thought for a sentiment was going to be along the lines of a belated birthday card but I came across this “Thanks a ton” sentiment first and thought - perfect!!  I picked up the elephants at Joann’s a couple months ago for no reason other than they were so cute.

I hope you have as much fun as I did with this sketch and as always I’m excited to see what you make!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #583

Hello, thank you so much for stopping by!!

I let the week get away from me again!!  Here is what I made for our Tuesday Morning Sketch #583 I finally got started on Christmas cards!  This stamp is from a previous CTMH Stamp of the Month called beautiful friend so I made a couple of these in Christmas colors to send to a couple beautiful friends this year.

I stamped on watercolor paper with CTMH Intense Black Ink using my Misti so I could stamp over a couple times to get a nice soaked in image then used watercolors - sooooo fun!!! I was really happy to have my Misti as well as my little Tim Holtz brush tool to get all the little pieces out of the lacy die cut.  I also made a couple more cards while I had the paper etc. out on my desk.

I hope you had a NICE Thanksgiving and that gratefulness pours over for the remainder of the holidays!!  Let’s not let overly fearful - just careful and enjoy the reason for our celebrations!  Sound good?

I’m looking forward to seeing your fabulous creations - a definite highlight of my week!  Have a NICE week!
