Tuesday Morning Sketches #340

Hellooooo!

I hope your week has been great.

I being the impatient (I guess) grandma that I am, weeks ago booked a flight for tomorrow to go visit my newborn grandaughter just "knowing" she would arrive on time or  early.  Well, wouldn't you know it she is the first of 5 that is LATE!!  She was due two days ago! I know it was a crazy thought to try and cut it so close so that was the risk I took.  I guess either she comes while I'm visiting or me and the other 4 grands just have our grand ol' time without her, LOL.  That will mean scheduling another little vacay asap from work - but oh well.

Here's my final entry for this month over at Tuesday Morning Sketches for #340.  Here is one more reason why I would love to be part of their design team.  #4.  Sometimes it helps to be accountable to fit in creative time. You know it's easy sometimes to skip some of the most enjoyable things in life when you've got a busy schedule, but creative time really is necessary!  It's good for your heart to de-stress and it's good for other's hearts when you share your artwork.  Am I right or am I right?

I promise this is the last bunny card from this same set.  Not the last time I'll use it mind you but I'll take a break from it for now.  Enjoy your week and be sure to head over to TMS and check out what the design team and other participants have in store for you.  :o)

TMS # 339 fun & I just couldn't wait to play with CTMH March Stamp of the Month

Well, see what you have to look forward to with next months Close to My Heart Stamp of the Month??!!  I couldn't wait any longer I had to break it out and play today after seeing Tuesday Morning Sketches #339.  Also, I'm giving another reason why I would like to be on the TMS Design Team...Reason #3 Is simply - it would be FUN!!  I hope you enjoy :o)

CTMH Artistry + Retro Sketches + Paper Players

I did forewarn you that I love this stamp set, I'm going to be playing with it a lot this week!!  Here's my entry for Retro Sketches #202 and Paper Players #282.  I used CTMH Artistry to cut "Hippity Hop" along with the Zoe Paper pack a Canary cardstock. The stamp set is an oldie but goodie CTMH set and the other embellishments were just in my stash.

TMS #338 & ColorQ #328

Hello WOW Friday already??!!  Actually it's my Thursday because I work Saturdays - silly I know but after so many years of having most Saturdays off it feels really strange to be working most of them.  This week just two cards made for Tuesday Morning Sketches #338 and one doubles to play along over at ColorQ #328 so fun!!

I mentioned last week that I would give a reason every week why I would like to be on the TMS Design Team, so. . . my reason #2 is rather selfish.  I moved away from my paper crafting buddies so now I have to rely on my virtual friends and it would love the camaraderie as well as the accountability to a new group.

Thanks so much for stopping by and as always if you would like to know about any of the supplies I used just leave a comment ;o)

Mojo433 & Paper Players

Low & behold 2 posts today!  I decided to make a quick card for MOJO433 and PP281 which is adorable so I'm still playing with the irresistible Animal Greetings set...see my last post for info on that.  I'm not very good at coloring tiger striped kittens I see, but I did have fun.

Since it's all about pets - here's a pic of my sweet fur babies :)

Tuesday Morning Sketches #337

Oh what fun I have had over the years playing over at Tuesday Morning Sketches!!  I have had a really rocky year so far as paper crafting goes but things are smoothing out finally!!  It's great to be back into my new craft room and it is getting it back into shape - that is a very happy thing for me.  This week I did get "locked" out of it for a night though due to the fact that the equipment room for our house is basically in my craft room and our furnace went out - bleh.  My hubby was afraid that gas may be leaking a little so I didn't use it until all was fixed and well.  I think maybe I'm going to start a series of posts to share the happenings of our 90's house good and not so good.

Well I played my little heart out with this week's sketch.  I'm trying to build a stash to RAK my many great friends that are better at giving cards than I.  This week's TMS sketch #337 was a good boost for that stash as well as my crafting creativity/moral.

In all honesty, I was probably extra energized because I'm hoping to become one of their Design Team members.  I'll give a reason every week why I want to be on their team and I encourage you to try too!!  Reason 1 - They are fantastic & kind crafters I know this because I have sponsored over there and they've been so incredibly patient and encouraging that I can't help but want to be a part of their team :) So head on over and check out TMS.

I used the adorable  Animal Greetings set from CTMH.  It is an Operation Smile fundraiser set $7 of the proceeds go to Operation Smile - they provide surgeries to repair cleft lips and palates in children It is such a great cause and available to purchase on my site.  If you're familiar with Close to My Heart you may recognize some really old paper - Sweet Pea (ha ha) so who else has a bit of that hoarded????

I also used a lot of DCWV Baby Boy paper stack and random supplies. Thanks for having a look!

These two are my favorite I think mostly because the words and the little raccoon & dog are just so cute!!

I see these staggered on here really strange but I think that's going to just have to be ok because I want to go play some more and not wrestle with the placement.
