Tuesday Morning Sketches #442

Hello & happy Tuesday once again!

This week  for Tuesday Morning Sketches #422 I made cards for two of my siblings that each actually made a big move to settle in to new places for their retirement.  I'm the youngest by quite a number of years so it won't be my turn to retire for probably 10 years.

The prize this week is this cute Pink & Main set you will get it just in time for my day St. Patti's Day.

I really KNOW I am NOT a Saint but I have a friend who is an ANGEL and she has celebrated me with "St Patti's Day" on more than one occasion she is just the sweetest friend anyone could ever hope for, I wish everyone could have a friend like her in their life.  It's really cool that our hubby's are also good friends too - what a bonus.

The frog will be "Enjoy your new pad".  I used my Explore to cut out the lilly pad and the stamp shape.  The frog is from the Close to My Heart Operation Smile stamp set called Punny Pals colored with CTMH water color papers and shimmer brush. The cute baby blue paper and tiny flower paper you see peeking out from the lily pad is from the Lullaby 6x6 pad by Pebbles.

The moving day box is an old old set from CTMH that I have always loved called "Welcome to the Neighborhood".  It is colored with Prisma and ShinHan markers. The paper is from the Cute Girl 6x6 pad by Crate Paper.  I hope you get to treat yourself to some fun crafting time this week and join us at TMS :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #441

Hellllooooo, anyone home?  I have been so scatterbrained.  Here I am posting my Tuesday Morning Sketches # 441 late but I hope better late than never?  I was so excited to try out my idea when I saw this sketch.

However, it didn't come out quite as cool as I hoped so I made another one and it wasn't enough better to rephotograph.  It's so hard to capture the shiny silver and gold embossed stars.  My favorite artsy thing about this is that I made the moon craters with embossing powders and my fingerprint.  Then I brushed off the centers with my finger also.  You like?  If you have any questions just comment and I'll give you the scoop ;o)

Our amazing team is sponsoring this week and the prize is a cute stamp set by Pink & Main.  I'm here to tell you our team made cards that are just to die for, I love them all!!!  You will definitely want to check them out.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #440

So how's your Tuesday going?  I hope it's terrific!  That word reminds me of one of my brothers, he often replies with "terrific" when I ask how he is doing - I just love & miss him so much.

This is our very last revisited sketch this year for Tuesday Morning Sketches #440.  It was Melissa's choice and the prize this week is a really cute Heidi Swap stamp set!

I had fun playing around with some gelatos that I got for Christmas.  The background was easy but so far as using them to watercolor they're quite a bit more subtle than I expected. I really enjoyed experimenting though and I hope to get better the more I practice with them.  If you have any tips I would love to hear them!!

In addition to your tips I'm also hoping to see YOUR wonderful creation this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!!  Plus we're always grateful to have you visit our blogs.  :)

Have a NICE week & thanks for stopping by!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #439

Hey happy Tuesday everyone!! We are getting close to the end of our revisited sketches, and I've enjoyed them so much I could just repeat the whole year lol!!  This one is Jenée's favorite.

I really goofed this week so ended up making this at the very last minute.  I grabbed a couple shapes out of my little basket of shapes, embossed the background and stamped the sentiment.  I get so stuck in a rut of only stamping on white I was pretty happy that I went ahead and stamped right on the background paper shape, forced by the ticking clock lol.

I'm looking forward to seeing your entries this whee when you play along with us at Tuesday Morning Sketches!  Good luck!!
