Tuesday Morning Sketches #556

Hello!

Can you believe that this is the last Tuesday in May!!??  Wow talk about a fast month.  Here is what I made for Tuesday Morning Sketches #556 - it is a sketch by yours truly!!  It is so simple I thought it would be a great way to show off your favorite papers or embossing folder.  I used some flowers that have been lingering lonely in my stash for quite a while and the thanks die is CTMH as well as all the paper and the twine.  I think the embossing folder is Cuttlebug and the enamel dots may be another brand I no longer know what they are.

Have fun playing along and have a NICE week!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #555

Hi there, thanks so much for stopping by for Tuesday Morning Sketches #555!  This was really fun, right away I thought what a great excuse to use some of this ruffle trim I’ve been hoarding for years.  I have a few pieces still from when I used to often stop by Melrose Vintage in Phoenix AZ on my way home from work. Every time I come across it I just relish the memories of browsing their fun shabby chic store.   The stamp set is the Operation Smile set from CTMH and all the cardstock and die is too.

I hope this weeks finds you enjoying a little more of everything and that we get to have you join us this week!!  Our Tuesday Morning Sketches team has a fabulous line up for you too!

Have a WONDERFUL day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #554

Hello and happy Tuesday!

I originally had planned on doing a lady bug shaker card for this sketch but I didn’t like the thought of trimming off part of the lady bug but also didn’t like the thought of not accentuating one of the unique features of this week’s Tuesday Morning Sketch # 554 which is the slightly sliced off circle.

I had cut some hearts for the original shaker card and got the idea to the fill the leftover empty heart circle with inlaid colorful hearts.  At first I was going to cut a batch of hearts from several colors of cardstock but then thought duh....I can just use the broad end of my Shin Han markers to make a few colors.  I rarely ever use the broad tip of markers and now never purchase markers with that type tip.

So.... I’m quite happy about using a piece of a die cut that I would normally throw away.  I hope your ready to plant some cheerful flowers now that Mother’s Day has passed and I also hope to see your creations soon for this weeks fun sketch!!

Have a NICE week!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #553

Yep!  Already time again for another great sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This sketch #553 is by Melissa and super fun.  I used an old stamp & die set from Avery Elle and CTMH embossing folder, ribbon from my stash, and a mix of Shin Han, Prisma Artist brush markers and Spectrum Noir Triblends plus a touch of Close to My Heart clear shimmer pen for the clouds. I cut out two rainbows so I could do a circle for the circle element of the sketch—hey the whole world could use a rainbow all the way around right about now right??

Have fun, stay well and I can’t wait to see what you make!!  If you didn’t come here from there you can go there from here (teehee), to check out Tuesday Morning Sketches  :)
