MOJO Monday & Color Throwdown - Flirty Paper Pack

I made this for two challenges MOJO Monday 260 and Color Throwdown CTD 211.  I used Close to My Heart "Flirty" paper pack, Burlap Ribbon and Arbor Wood Shapes, which of course you can find on my site. You will be seeing much more of this beautiful paper pack.  Although I stuck to the challenge colors I LOVE the vivid pink and deep New England Ivy in "Flirty" because it shows off the brilliant colors of fall so well.

October Layout / Scrap Club Project

This is the layout that my clubs will be making in September.  The owl is cut out with the new Close to My Heart Artiste Cricut cartridge and the paper is from the Moonlight packet. The leaves and pumpkins are Arbor Wood Shapes, and I also used the new Burlap Ribbon & Baker's Twine
My daughter is really a fall girl she just loves it. She was born in November and this is her daughter Norah (yes my sweet granddaughter!), born in November also!!  I have other really cute fall pics of her too, you will be seeing those pop up here real soon.

Goodness!  I can hardly believe that it's already been almost a year since these were taken!

Retro Sketches & Color Challenges

These are both from this week's sketch over at Retro Sketches, thought while I was at it I might as well cut two so I found two color challenges to use too.

The scheme for the this one is from "the color throwdown" challenge.

The scheme for this one is from The Play Date Cafe challenge,  PDCC148, which my color is a little off, it really seemed in my lighting that it was more peach, but oh well.

These we so fun to make using all CTMH products except the Cuttlebug embossing folder and the little pink tulle flowers that I just couldn't resist.

MOJO257 Close to My Heart "Flirty" Paper

Here's what I did for MOJO Monday 257 contest.  After I was almost done I realized that I meant to use the other side of the paper for that wide middle band.  It was too late to take things apart so I just made a different variation keeping it a little more simple. Both sides of the paper are so pretty though, agree?
