Tuesday Morning Sketches #459

Here you are - another non pink or overly feminine card!  Although I would probably only calls girls sunshine except I do have one grandson who is very fair and blonde and has HUGE crystal blue eyes so I may call him sunshine sometime now that I think about it.

Of course I made this for Tuesday Morning Sketches # 459.  I had a lot of fun making this card but it was not easy to photograph without making it look like there were mud puddles on it.  The gold shimmer looks so cool in person but it did kind of wreck havoc on the photo taking. The word sunshine and the sun cut out are from the Close to My Heart Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge and the Happy Birthday stamp is retired.

Thanks so much for visiting!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #458

Okaaaaaay here is my card for TMS#458 as promised I didn't PINK out on you again this week!!  I've started a new trend we'll see how long I can last without making a pretty feminine card....want to guess how long I'll make it???  In fact if you put your guess in a comment below I will enter you in a drawing for a pack of 12x12 paper that I made this card with!!!  How about that? My fellow Tuesday Morning teammates are eligible too!  It's only fair they do such an outstanding job every single week!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this paper, it is from the Close to My heart Fresh Air Paper packet, I'll share more about it next week.

The Thanks, stitched oval and scalloped oval dies,  as well as the burlap ribbon are all CTMH also.  I'm in love with something that's not PINK can you believe it????

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you play along with us at TMS and that you have a chance to visit my friends and fellow team players blogs.

P.S. I'm back from Vancouver Island and will post pics later in the week - I can't wait but I'm a little pressed for time right now, you know the "catch up game" we all have to play after a fun week off.

Have a wunnnnerfullll week!

Three challenges YAY!

Wow!  I had a fun time creating for these challenges.  I realized that I didn't link up a card that I made for Color My Heart Color Dare # 295 so I thought maybe I would see what the next one was but I inadvertently skipped on to 297 for my creation because I got in a big hurry to create something in time for the new Double Trouble Challenge.  Whew,  I needed to hurry because of the deadline not to mention my bedtime. LOL  I have to be at work at 6:00 am so I usually don't start things quite this late but I'm having trouble letting go of vacay mode.  More on that Tuesday.  :o)  I'm entering three four! at a time and I haven't done that in quite some time so here goes....

It all started with:

Where I found a sneak peak for:

Double Trouble Challenge #2

Where they informed me I could also enter:

Three Amigos Bloghop Challenge #15

So I needed a sketch and visited:

I'm pretty pleased with the results considering from start to taking the photo it took under 30 minutes, although it felt like 5 lol.  How long do you usually take, say guesstimate your average card making time for one?

Thanks for stopping by!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #457

Hello there HAPPY Tuesday!!

I know I know another girly girl card but I couldn't help myself. I fussy cut the Scalloped Love from a pocket scrapbooking card that I think was American Crafts.  The gold flourish is die cut from an old Sizzix die and CTMH Gold Foil Paper.  The kraft background is some sort of vinyl like sheet that had white polka dots but I colored them.  The pink is CTMH Bashful cardstock and it is the Close to My Heart Color of the year this year so only available for a couple more months.  I embossed the sentiment with Ranger Fine Gold Embossing powder.

As always I'm super excited to see what you make!!  Come join  us at Tuesday Morning Sketches for challenge numero 457!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a WONDERFUL week, I sure will be it's my birthday week and I'm spending it on beautiful Vancouver Island!!

Please stop by and leave a little love on all my fellow teammate/friends blogs!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #456

Hello there, happy Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

Feminine and pretty is definitely a favorite style of mine. I enjoy creating with glitter paper and pearls and pretty flowers but not overboard glam.  I cut the center tag with my Cricut Explore.  The butterfly is a punch and the papers (retired), stamps and pearls are Close to My Heart.

You really need to see the great creations our team made - I just love creating with these ladies and I know you will too so please join us this week for Tuesday Morning Sketches #456.
