Tuesday Morning Sketches #625

 Hello - happy Tuesday!

Here is what I made for our Tuesday Morning Sketch #625.  Once again I was pushed a little out of my comfort zone and I’m so grateful that I was because this was so much fun.  I had some circles punched from some watercolor playing around that I did a while ago and really wanted to turn them into something and I didn’t have high expectations because the colors were so different but all in all I’m happy with how it turned out after adding dots and sequins.

I hope you enjoy checking out what our fabulous team has created and So click this Tuesday Morning Sketches or the link above to head on over to see what our fab team made and leave some love.  I’m anxious to see what you make!!!

Happy everything!!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #624

Hi!  I sure appreciate you stopping by!!  Here’s what I made for TMS #624.  I actually made the Christmas one first but then decided to make a card for my grandson’s birthday (he LOVES bugs).  I have two with birthdays this month.  If you have any questions please ask.  I’m short on time - what else is new?  I’m sure you are too but I hope you have enough time to join us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Have a NICE day!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #623

Hello!  Thank you for being here!!

It’s time to have a look & try your hand at Tuesday Morning Sketches #623 by Melissa :o)

I was having so much fun and I had the next day off when I made these so I couldn’t resist making a few. Truth be known it was mostly because I had a really hard time deciding what paper/colors to use so I just used all that I could fit in my time - I stayed up till 1:00 a.m. so I did make a couple goofs but I decided not to let it stress me out.

I cheated a little in that I used stickers instead of stamping but I figured the die-cutting, planning etc was enough and all in all I really like them.  I already gave the gold one away to one of my friends to give to her friend.

Everything I used is current CTMH products.

Not sure why but I couldn’t get in to Cricut Design Space when I was making these so I had to improvise with die-cuts to achieve the shapes I wanted. For the first scalloped oval I cut a little section out of the middle so I could make it more narrow.

For the smaller rings I cut a smaller circle out of the circle that was left over from the larger ring.

For the gold and copper rings I cut them in half so I could make them larger so the scalloped oval would look narrower.

Now it’s your turn I hope you have as much fun as I did with this great sketch by Melissa Craig!!  Just head on over to Tuesday Morning Sketches for more inspiration & ENJOY!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #622

Whew hi hi hi!!!

I had a very quick couple of weeks for 4 cherished way too fast days I traveled to see my son and his sweet little family.  We had our annual un-birthday party (since I’m never there for anyone’s birthday :o( - everyone gets a little something) and celebrated one of my grandson’s Maxima Cum Laude honor in the National Latin Examination and made cards, did puzzles & s'mores and everything else grandmotherly that I could try and fit in during such a short time. This was a different set of grandkids - the granddaughter I mentioned a couple weeks ago is my daughters daughter.  One day I hope & pray to have us all together for a visit again.

You may or may not have noticed that I got my post ready last week but not my card grrrrr.  Well it was such a great sketch that I added a card anyway when I got back. Plus I made two cards for this week so I hope ya’ll forgive me - yep I was in Kentucky hence the ya’ll lol.

Then on to this weeks sketch -honestly I thought it would be more of a struggle than it actually was.  It was out of the box a little for me but that was a very good thing!  I was excited to play with new CTMH papers and use these neat little real wood stickers but I also have more ribbon than anyone needs and this sketch lent itself perfectly to use some of it.  I ended up totally enjoying the sketch and I know you will too!!

Instead of doing strips or layering a solid piece of paper I cut out a shape to make better use of the paper - I just thought it was a little too busy for this card so I will use it on a scrapbook page.
