Tuesday Morning Sketches #770

Hello and Happy Tuesday once again!

It’s time already for Tuesday Morning Sketches #770.  I struggle just a bit with square cards - not sure why.  I decided to go with a 4x4 card because I have a pack of that size with envelopes that I really should put to use.  This sweet butterfly paper is another acquisition of my last Joann escapade - I’ll be working with that for a little while!

Thank you so much for stopping by - excited to see what YOU make when you join us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #769

Hi!  Here I am late again.  I have had a super fun and crafty week though just no time to think about anything except enjoying my daughter’s visits.  So my son and his family were together with us for almost all the time.  That was 10 of us hanging out enjoying each other so much!  They all love painting and crafting so that is what we did most the time with some games and playing with the puppies (our 1 year old BIG boxers!)

I had my card made well in advance but didn’t get my post ready.  Here is is … my creation for Tuesday Morning Sketches #769.

I kinda feel like I need to go back and get more of these pretty little elephants.  This is the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve purchased and used them.  I have a colleague at work who loves elephants so this will be for her.

Super simple but super cute too I think even if I do say so myself :)

I hope you have a chance to play along with us at Tuesday Morning Sketches this week!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #768

Happy happy Tuesday!!  It’s time for Tuesday Morning Sketches #768.

I needed to stop in at Joann for a new self healing cutting mat and a few things jumped in my cart again.  This sticker set was just so cute and irresistible that I couldn’t wait to use it!

I picked out a few papers; two of a couple of them so I could make matching envelopes and use as much of the sheet as I wanted.

I know summer is so busy - life in general right?  It’s hard to treat yourself to some crafty fun time but for me it is quite necessary even just a little bit like this simple card can go a long way to satisfy our creative craving.

So - I truly hope you get some creative time this week and that you’re able to join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches for this simple sketch #768!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #767

Well ARRRGH!!  Thought I did this early but NOOOOOO - just crazy me.  Oh well here’s the I made for the super fun Tuesday Morning Sketches #767

That’s all just late, short and semi-sweet :)

Tuesday Morning Sketches #766

Happy Tuesday!

It’s time already for Tuesday Morning Sketches #766

We are still celebrating that Tuesday Morning Sketches turns 15 this month!  We are celebrating all month long with old sketches (from 2014) AND small prizes all month! We always love to have you play along, but prizes too!!

My work friend is having a baby girl and normally that would mean that yaaaay I get to get out shabby chic pink stuff but she is one of THOSE no pink mama’s!  She loves teal though so I still got to do shabby chic just not pink :)

Papers are from Carta Bella Flora number something, embossing folder, twine and pearls CTMH, I have had the little charm for 10+ years!! and the lace is from Hobby Lobby.

Have a happy week, we know summer is super busy but hope we still get to have you join us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #765

Happy Tuesday & thanks for stopping by for Tuesday Morning Sketches #765.

You may already know that Tuesday Morning Sketches turns 15 this month!  We are celebrating all month long with old sketches (from 2014) AND small prizes all month! So, now is definitely a good time to play along!

Got this not so great idea to cut this panel with the heart out of a page that I was just swatching and goofing off with oil pastels.  Most of the time using an element as a starting point and building from there works good for me but not so much this time. I’m not really happy with it although there were some fun moments when I was creating it I really don’t love it.  Oh well - not EVERY card is going to be great right?

I do love the sentiment and I love how you can always have embellishments that match if you have some tiny dies.  I just cut a portion of this die that makes little hearts for shakers (CTMH no longer available) on a scrap of glitter cardstock to match the first panel.  I could have also cut the entire thing in the center of the back panel but I wasn’t thinking that good lol.

Thanks so much for visiting and I hope to see you soon at Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #764

How is your summer so far - besides flying by super quick?  I hope it is good! It’s time already for Tuesday Morning Sketches #764 - wow the weeks seem like just a day or so long.

I did this at the very last minute because I thought I did it but couldn’t find it and all I can say is I must have had it confused with the one from last week. Oh well!  This was pretty easy - just trying to make use of things I’ve had for a really long time.

I hope you have fun time to join us - even if you have to just pop some stickers and embellishments on a card it is so satisfying.

Can hardly wait to see what you make for Tuesday Morning Sketches!! We are having some prizes this month too!!
