Tuesday Morning Sketches #440

So how's your Tuesday going?  I hope it's terrific!  That word reminds me of one of my brothers, he often replies with "terrific" when I ask how he is doing - I just love & miss him so much.

This is our very last revisited sketch this year for Tuesday Morning Sketches #440.  It was Melissa's choice and the prize this week is a really cute Heidi Swap stamp set!

I had fun playing around with some gelatos that I got for Christmas.  The background was easy but so far as using them to watercolor they're quite a bit more subtle than I expected. I really enjoyed experimenting though and I hope to get better the more I practice with them.  If you have any tips I would love to hear them!!

In addition to your tips I'm also hoping to see YOUR wonderful creation this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!!  Plus we're always grateful to have you visit our blogs.  :)

Have a NICE week & thanks for stopping by!

  1. Your gelatos are so pretty, they look like ice cream colors.

  2. Beautiful card! I'm coming back to your blog to see those tips I hope you get. I struggle with gelatos so they're in the closet. Your card came out lovely - they do look like ice cream colors and I love love love the white panel with that beautiful die cut edge. Perfect for those flowers.

  4. The Gelato colors are yummy and delicious looking and remind me of spring colors, so how perfect you'd pair them with flowers and a butterfly! I really like the punched decorative border too!

  6. I am always taken with the projects people make using gelatos and yours is fabulous. I love how you kept the upper part of your card pristine white, to show of the coordinating florals and butterflies and ties it all together. Wonderfully creative!
