Tuesday Morning Sketches #568

Well <blink> and here we are another Tuesday!!!  I sure hope you make the time to join us this week for Tuesday Morning Sketches #568! I had a few of these flowers punched out for a couple of other recent cards and decided they would work well for this sketch.  The “thanks” was also just laying on my desk!! Needless to say this was really quick and easy and I think it yielded really nice results. This fun sketch by Melissa is definitely a winner in my book!!

Here is what I made for our Tuesday Morning Sketches #565.  I love this happy die so much!  It is from a retired CTMH set. My next favorite thing about this card is that I used my Cricut, it hasn’t been getting much use lately so I hope this is a beginning of using it more again. I made this for my brother’s birthday and even already sent it off to him - yay me!  Ha ha I say that because that’s actually a pretty big accomplishment for me.  

A nice big chunky tag is a really fun focal point and I can’t wait to see what you make with this!!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #564

Hello, hi & hay there!  

So how many days did the last week feel like for you? More than 7 or less?  I had one of those “huh what day is it” EVERY day kind of week.  I think it’s lack of sleep that is getting to me.  

Anyway I feel like crafting really does help keep you sane hahaha!!   On the other hand I suspect it drives my husband insane :).  Here is my card for this weeks sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches # 564. All supplies are CTMH some current some retired.  It really was enjoyable to make and I actually sent it off to my MIL this week - I’m so proud of myself I think I’m an ok card maker but a pretty rotten card sender.   Getting better at sending this year though - actually way better YAY me!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #562

Happy Birthday to Tuesday Morning Sketches!!  Today is Tuesday Morning Sketches 11th birthday! This is the very same fab sketch that was posted that very day July 7th 11 years ago. I’m not sure how long I’ve been playing along with creator Melissa and Debbie the original team but I’ve been on the Design Team for 5 years (I think) and I’m so grateful for them and our entire wonderful team.

I was going to make more cards one of which was supposed to be a birthday card (duh-what is wrong with me??!!) I should have started with the most important first because this is the one and only one I accomplished.

To celebrate, we have 6 prizes up for grabs this week!!  There are some rules, so please check out the TMS blog post for details.  

I hope you have soooo much fun with this and I wish you lots of luck and whoever wins - let it be known I’m totally jealous because the prizes are amazing!
