Thank you so much for stopping by, time is always precious but this time of year even more so!  Here it is already time for a new fun sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  

A really great thing about making cards is that it is multi-purpose.  1. Fun & relaxing for you. 2. Fun and inspiring for others 3. You end up with something you can use in a relatively short time.  The list goes on…I would love you to share more purposes/reasons to make cards too!

It was fun doing a simple little bit of watercolor for the pine bough and ornaments. Making this reminded me just how hard it is to keep a circle perfectly round -cuz as you can see I couldn’t exactly pull off  “perfectly round” lol.  I do appreciate you stopping by and I’m so looking forward to seeing what you come up with this week for our Tuesday Morning Sketches # 686!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #684

Hello once again!  

Time for Tuesday Morning Sketches #684. I had a special request for a  card for a 2 year old boy who loves sea turtles and I knew this would be the perfect sketch for it.  I had some big number stickers in my stash and I couldn’t believe how perfect the size and color of the 2 were. The sea turtle is from a CTMH Stamp of the Month from a few months back and I water colored it 

This is such a versatile sketch and our team made some fantastic cards to inspire you!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #683

Happy Tuesday Morning Sketches # 683 Day!!

I feel a little mehh about this card.  The sketch is super fun but I’m not happy with the sequins combined with this paper, both are pretty just not necessarily together.  It does look a little better in person though.  I got too far along to go back and fix anything and in the middle of it all I was looking through my stamp & Thin Cuts sets to find some star dies and got totally side tracked organizing my stamp sets. That was dumb because it totally aggravated my neck - I really need to go back to the Dr. again but thinking I should wait till my deductible starts over in January.  Thank you to those who wished me feeling better last week!

I had the perfect punches but I gave a bunch away when I moved thinking that I would rely on my Maker.  That poor neglected Cricut hasn’t been out of the box since I bought it last Black Friday :o(  though —who knew???  Well I thank you so very much for stopping by.  Time now for you to head on over to Tuesday Morning Sketches so we can come see your creation soon!

Tuesday Morning Sketches # 682

Happy Tuesday once again!  

It is time for Tuesday Morning Sketches #682!  It’s really fun to pick out papers for this and my (non)perfectionism is certainly showing on this one.  I could have spaced better and I could have had the ending point to the right instead of the left but just started randomly putting paper down without thinking real hard about it.  

This would be a great one to just make a bunch and use up scraps but (always something these old days) I barely get through one card with my stupid stupid (very stupid)  pinched nerve in my neck. Don’t I sound like I’m getting old and creaky?  Probably because I am haha.
