MOJO277 and CTD225

Just couldn't wait to share a sneak peek of some of my latest favorite paper pack - Close to My Heart, Chantilly.  I'm able to purchase it early because I'm a CTMH Consultant; it will become available on February 1 to everyone.   Thought I would combine the MOJO277 and Color Throwdown challenges I used:

In addition to the Chantilly paper pack I also used:

Close to My Heart - Sunset & Chantilly Cardstock, the stamp set from the new For Always Card Workshop on the Go, Baker's Twine and Pink Glitter Gems.

Heidi Swap - Adhesive Accents (I've had for a VERY long time)

Freshly Made Sketches #67 & Whooo's Your Valentine?

Here's what I made for Freshly Made Sketches #67.

I can hardly wait to get my hands on the new Chantilly paper pack (will debut in CTMH Spring Summer Idea Book in Feb.) so I decided to use a few of the same colors.

Inside:

CTMH products used:

White Daisy, Cotton Candy & Twilight Cardstock and Ink
Cashmere Cardstock
Pink Sparkles
Whooo's Your Valentine Stamp Set (see my 12/29 post for more info)

In addition I used a M. Stewart punch, Cuttlebug embossing folders and leaf vine trim from my stash.

Mojo Monday 274 and CTD #223

I hope you're off to a good start for 2013!

This card is a result of some much needed play time last night and the Mojo Monday 274 as well as the Color Throwdown CTD #223 challenges.  Let me tell you the design teams both of these challenges did a WONDERFUL job so you definitely want to go check them out! It was also a personal challenge to make a Valentin's card using non-traditional colors.

The dotted paper is a My Mind's Eye scrap and the ribbon I salvaged off of two different thank you cards that were given to me a few years ago they just happened to be exactly the same so took the cute crinkly ribbon off each one and tied them together so I would have enough to make it around the entire card.  I actually like the knot, I think it added a little character to the inside of the card.

Other than those two items everything else was Close to My Heart, and you can click on Haunted Assortment to see where the brad is from and click on January Stamp of the Month to see the stamp set and details on how you can purchase it for only $5.

MOJO Monday 273

Surprised myself just now!!  I was thinking that I missed posting this on MOJO Monday 273 and I just noticed that I didn't miss it.  I guess it's because I made it the day after that challenge posted then forgot all about it.

The day after being Christmas day and since we had no family here this year we just relaxed and I played with some of my Christmas gifts.  This paper was from my dear sweet daughter, she got it on a Black Friday deal she couldn't resist at Archiver's it is from My Mind's Eye.

I used the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge for the cut outs and the stamp sets are CTMH too, the roses are part of the upcoming January 2013 Stamp of the Month set and the "greetings" stamp is part of the For My Friend set. I love this little word and this particular version of it. The more I use this cartridge the more I think every paper crafter should own it!  It comes in a bundle with coordinating chipboard elements and stamp sets which makes it a great deal at $99, but...if you host a gathering in person, by book or by "e-party" that reaches $250 you can purchase it for 1/2 price!  Email me if you would like to know more.

Close to My Heart - Whooo's Your Valentine - Tuesday Morning Sketch #178

Well, I'm happy to say that I have taken a little time off over the holidays and will have lots to show you the next few days.

I'm pretty dang proud of this card that I made to enter the challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketch #178.  I REALLY took  this challenge to heart.  The reason this was a challenge for me is because I scheduled a pop-up card for my monthly workshop for January, and I haven't made one in a VERY long time.  It was super easy with the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge, just cut and assemble.  The front of the card is a sketch from the CTMH Make it From Your Heart Volume I.

This is the first creation I've made using the stamp set from the Close to My Heart Whooo's Your Valentine kit.  The kit is a promotion that is only available until January 31st,  check out the video in my previous post if you would like to know more about it or to purchase you can contact me or go to my website www.pattir.ctmh.com.   Take a look at the photo below and you will see there's lot's more in the kit in addition to this cute set.  It's just $10 with a $35 purchase from our Fall/Winter 2012/2013 Catalog.

Hope you enjoyed this cute little card. If you're interested in seeing more wonderful CTMH products I have a Catalog/Idea Book free for the asking to the first 3 people who contact me and provide their mailing address so I can send it.
