Here is what I made for Tuesday Morning Sketches #464 - since I'm in a hurry (what else is new) I won't add much info but of course if you ask a question I'll be more than happy to answer!! I have been busy but I have so many busier friends/family members who have moved this summer so I'm sure they are even more busy!
Heeellllllloooooo!! I am here, I am here, I am here although late! That reminded me of Horton Hears a Who. Well anyway, I continued my anti-pinko theme another week :) I thought this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketches #462 just yelled "shaker card" at me and up until this one I haven't made one for years so it was really fun.
I based the colors on the sequins that I had that were not pink, so went for the Crystal Blue and Black route. I'll forgo details unless you have a question I will be happy to answer but for now I gotta hit the hay. I stayed up late talking to a friend in AZ last night and completely forgot about posting this so that is why I'm late. I was getting ready for bed a few minutes ago when I remembered. Funny how our memory just chimes in when it feels like it huh?
One little tip that may be helpful is that the stripes on my paper were brown and I used a Sharpie and a T-Ruler to make them black instead. Keep an eye out for adjustments/enhancements you can make to DP that you already have if it is just not right for what you need.

Happy Tuesday Morning Sketch Day!
This is what I made for TMS #461 :)
Okay this is card number 4 that I haven't had pink for the main color! Sorry this is shadowy but I tried hard to get rid of the shadows much to no avail. I hope this will be good for a house warming - do you think it will?
This scalloped oval just happened to be on my desk and it was perfect for the sentiment. I used my antistatic bag on it before I embossed it but I still ended up with more stray powder than I realized and not wanting to try and unbury my die to do a new oval (who knows where it is under the piles I have in my craft room at the moment) I covered it with my shimmer pen and it worked great in real life but for the photo not so much.

I feel like I could have done a little better with this if I didn't end up so pressed for time but all things considered I'm happy with it considering the amount of time invested (not being toooo much).
