I snatched a little time for fun just now. My daughter sent me some really cute scrapbooking embellies for Mother's Day so I couldn't wait to play with them.
I picked the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge # 197 and a new one I just discovered Ribbon Reel Challenge #52
The "Hello" is from Close to My Heart, it's called For Every Occasion and I'll tell you it's a must have so far as I'm concerned. There are 28 stamps!! Click here to check it out on my site.
Here's what I used:
CTMH Bakers Twine - Harvest Assortment
CTMH Colonial White Cardstock
CTMH Cranberry Ink Pad
CTMH For Every Occasion Stamp Set
CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge - Doiley
CTMH Scallop & Round Punch
CTMH Opaques Pearls
The Girls' Paperie by Margie - Brad
Crate Paper - Blue Gingham Paper and Emma's Shoppe Trim

CTMH Clair Paper Packet
This is the layout my clubs made in April, my plan is that they will be for our 2013 May photos but not everyone takes photos and does a current layout every month so it can be used for many other themes too. They look so "naked" without the title & journaling but hopefully I can start posting after pictures when I finish up my monthly layouts.

CTMH Stamp Set - 4 My Friend
Well, here we go again! I made these cards the weekend before last for the Shabby Tea Room and the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenges at the time and never linked them. Oh well, I have two new little boxer puppies that are keeping me extra busy these days. They're certainly not going to be little long, in fact they've already almost tripled what they weighed when we got them a month ago.
The great thing about collecting all the Close to My Heart ink pads and owning few of their great stamp sets is that you can coordinate with pretty much ANY paper you want to use. This stamp set is called "4 My Friend" and I use it all the time. Each saying is in a different font there's:
Greetings
Happy Birthday
Hooray for you
Cheer Up
4 My Friend
Miss you like crazy
Wishing you congrats
Sorry for your loss
Congrats
I stamped in Pear ink, the cut outs are from the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. The paper was some DCWV that I picked up on clearance a while back. The ink, stamp set and the cartridge are all available to purchase on my website www.pattir.ctmh.com.

Masculine Birthday and Altered Tag
I actually made this a couple months ago and just realized that I didn't ever finish up the post...doesn't surprise me a bit. What surprises me is that I haven't done that more often but I'm sure I do it all the time but just don't even realize it.
I thought both these cards would be appropriate for a guy. Those always seem to be the most hard for me. The tag is off a piece of clothing, it was so nice and thick plus it had a really cute string so I've saved a couple of them to play around with. I often save little bits of things to use like this, only to end up throwing them away after all, so I'm really glad that wasn't the case this time.

Chantilly and Buzz & Bumble Circular Easel Card
This was a fun little card to make. I found the instructions over at Split Coast Stampers. I used all Close to My Heart products, the paper packet is Chantilly and the stamp sets are Card Chatter Sympathy and the Buzz & Bumble Workshop on the Go set.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #194 & The Shabby Tea Room #162
Wow...I have not been a very good blogger lately! Work and family things have been much more demanding the past couple months. But hopefully I'm back. I'll explain more about that later :o) - I may need a new tab on my blog!
Today I decided to participate in a couple fun challenges and picked the Shabby Tea Room, because I love pink and blue and of course it was next to impossible for me to pass up the theme "Pretty Shabby" the only problem I had when it came to picking out what I wanted to use for something "Pretty Shabby" is my hoarding instincts kicked in so I declined on using the first 4 or 5 ribbons and such that I picked up. I just wasn't ready to use them on a card, I'm saving them for pages because those will be around longer.
I picked the Tuesday Morning sketch because it was simple and I've been so limited on time lately that simple was exactly what I needed. The bow is made with a pinch of my most hoarded stash that I found at Melrose Vintage in downtown Phoenix quite a while back. The stamp sentiment, Rosette Ribbon and Pearl Opaques are Close to My Heart, This color ribbon is now available only in Colonial White but it is beautiful.

March Workshop Pages for April Photos - Buzz & Bumble
Here are the pages we did in my workshops for March. They're intended for our April photos but don't necessarily have to be used for that. We used EVERY stamp in the Buzz & Bumble Workshop on the Go and also several from the Fabulous You set. Everything we used was Close to My Heart and available on my website or from me.
