Tuesday Morning Sketches #641

Hi there - thanks for being here!!

This week’s Tuesday Morning Sketches #641 is Melissa’s 2021 favorite which was originally #597 designed by Andrea.  It was a really fun one to make with the CTMH retired Perfect Match papers.  The heart background has some hearts outlined and I covered up some of them so I tried outlining a couple myself and used way too thick of a marker so I covered them up with hearts cut from the same paper kit and also the current Mix-Ins from CTMH.  I’m kind of glad I messed up because I think the added touch is nice. 

I’ll be working all-nighters for a couple weeks and I have never in my life done that - plus I’m fighting a non-Covid (I think) cold so letting myself just rest and play for a few days.  I’m really nervous about how I’m going to survive this schedule! Thankfully, making cards is so fun and such a blessing when you’re under the weather.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #640

 Happy Tuesday once again!

This week the sketch Tuesday Morning Sketches #640 is Debi’s 2021 favorite by Melissa.  I wasn’t all that happy with my card last time but I am this time - thankfully :o)

I used:

Balloon punch - SU

Very, very old Darice cloud and CTMH dots embossing folders.

And also from CTMH, the new Sawyer paper packet + Grape & Mint cardstock and ink pads. The stamp is the new CTMH Mini Greetings Birthday stamp set that just happens to have a little mini Thank You stamp also.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #639

Why am I late so much now??? I’m not sure but my best excuse is my erratic work schedule messing with my brain.  

I love this month’s CTMH Stamp of the Month and could hardly wait to use it for Tuesday Morning Sketches #639.  Thought this little stamp would make a cute baby girl card. I was going for the shabby chic look that I so adore but this came out a little light so I will try other options and I also want to try and get back to my goal of using every stamp in a set so I hope to show off these cute stamps in the next couple of weeks. 

I couldn’t resist popping in a pic of this cool bloom on my new String of Pearls plant.  I finally found one, it’s small but I have been looking for quite some time so I was very happy to bring it home.  I never even knew they bloomed till I brought it home and got on YouTube and learned about it then low and behold a couple days later mine was actually blooming! I love it and hope that I can keep it alive lol.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #638

Thank you for stopping by!  I’m posting late, I seem to be struggling with that MOD lately.  I love this sketch so much and I’m actually really happy with how my card turned out.  Not at all what I first envisioned doing but I like it just as much.
