Heart 2 Heart Add a Photo Challenge

When I saw what the H2H Challenge was this week I just HAD to share about this card & photo.  The photo is my daughter with her baby doll, the card is one of the invitations to her baby shower, and yes she was having a girl!  Of course I wasn't thinking right when I took the photo that in 24  years I would be using it for this purpose.  I did think it later on, like when she was 10 and I started scrapbooking and making cards, that's when I knew that if she ever had a baby girl I would use this for her shower invitations.  Low & behold I was blessed to do just that!

    All I can say is WOW. To have the perfect picture just waiting 24 years to use - I think that might be a scrapping record! What an amazing baby shower invitation this made - I'm sure the people who received it were just blown away when they recognized your daughter. Congratulations to her on her upcoming new arrival!

      Thank you Paige for reading my story! If it weren't for my scrapping hobby I probably wouldn't have been able to locate the picture when I needed it or may not have remembered it. I actually cheated a bit on this because it was over a year ago...she had baby Norah, and she is the one in some of my layouts on my blog. I hadn't ever posted the invite though. Thank you for looking and commenting, have a great summer!
