This is my super quick and easy  Tuesday Morning Sketches 
#742. It was one of my favorites from last year.  It is a really hard thing to pick a favorite because they’re ALL great!

I have such a ribbon fetish that any chance I have to use some is super fun.  This sketch was perfect for a nice wide pretty piece, I got these supplies when I was working at Joann’s a couple years ago.  You will totally be inspired by what our team made for you this week and I can’t wait to be inspired by you - so time to join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

                                                 

Tuesday Morning Sketches #741

 Hi!  

Thanks for clicking here for Tuesday Morning Sketches#741.  I made this in an attempt to be more purposeful with what I’m making.  I have a few photographers on my card list so one down and 2 to go lol.  

I used American Crafts paper from Joann’s and an embossing folder that I have had for a very long time and think this may be the first time I’ve ever used it. I sponged the almost white in the camera paper to mute it to go better with the Colonial White cardstock.  It was too white for that but too off white for White Daisy cardstock.

Here’s a quick pick of the puppies…they’re getting so big and have so much energy - so much work at this age that I hardly get time to craft.

                                               

Ha ha they look so sweet and innocent here - but boy they are a hand full-two overflowing hand fulls! If this photo was zoomed out you could see where Biscuit (right) chewed off the front of one of the chair arms. Just rolling my eyes ;o)

Tuesday Morning Sketches #740

Hi once again!!

I wish I could have just created a stack of cards with this sketch - just so many ideas and so little time. You will really enjoy creating with this Tuesday Morning Sketches #740. 

I let the paper and the premade little sticker embellishments do most the work.  I am ALWAYS ready for spring and summer long before it is here. These cards are just a little reminder that although it is super BRRRRR COLD that the sun will be back. 

I made the aqua and purple one first and I have really been wanting to do something with this cute daisy paper so when I noticed that there was a bouquet in the stickers that would work with it I “had” to make another one. I made the mini slimline because I had stamped and border punched a sentiment too small for the 5 x 7 cards.

The patterned papers and stickers are from Joann’s (American Crafts) and the cardstock Close to My Heart.  The stamp set is one that I won!! It was years ago from MOJO Monday. What a fond memory :)

Hello there! 

Thanks for stopping by for   Tuesday Morning Sketches #739!  This is always such a fun time when we revisit our favorites of the prior year.  

I resisted using butterflies last week but couldn’t quite resist this week.  A few weeks (or maybe months haha time flies) ago I used this pretty butterfly vellum just as it was and this time I cut a bunch of butterflies out.  It was so enjoyable to make and they are just so darn pretty!! I don’t know how I’m going to decide who gets this birthday card :) I may have to make another one.  I had a hard time deciding whether to say happy thoughts or go ahead with happy birthday but as you see I went with birthday.

The great pic Melissa took of her mirror card inspired me to take one at a better angle to see the sparkle on this card. I kinda think that I may want to just cut all the butterflies that I can out of what is left of this paper.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #738 & Color My Heart #582

Happy New Year!!

Wow the holidays came and passed so FAST!!!  I hope you had some very happy times!

Here is what I made for our first revisited sketch of the year.  We always kick off the year with our favorite  Tuesday Morning Sketches of the prior year - really fun!!

Last time I used butterflies for the elements so this time I found some birds.  These are little puffy shaker stickers that I’ve had for a couple of years.  I decided to also enter this in the Color My Heart Color Dare #582.  I hope you can check them both out :)

Tuesday Morning Sketches #736

Thanks for stopping by for Tuesday Morning Sketches #736.  

I can’t seem to even keep track of time anymore but I lost a couple weeks sick and  coughing my head off.  I’m all better now just behind on everything. 

I hope your holiday season is going really well.  Mine is going way too fast but then I guess it always does. I had to really rush my card, it just seems like I have no time these days.  It felt really good to at least take a few minutes for some fun.  I set the stopwatch on my phone and here is how long this card took:

I realized I forgot to round the corners but wasn’t starting over so I rounded the corners on the tiny sentiment.

Not too bad considering that included figuring out what to use for the trees, papers, die and embossing folder plus putting together.

I’m so sad, I realized that I never posted  Tuesday Morning Sketches #734 but just for the record here it is. I put more work into to this one than I have put in on one card for a long long time…oh well. No use crying over spilt milk right?
