Good good Tuesday morning!!
My week just FLEW! How about yours? I have to make this quick because I stayed up way past my bedtime last night. We went to a Handel's Messiah Sing Along (ha - but I didn't sing lol, wouldn't want to ruin anyone's night) It was so fun but got home so late & had to get up and work a 12 hour Cyber Monday starting at 6:00 a.m.
I did squeeze in just barely enough time to make a couple cards with our TMS sketch # 431. I do like them better in person but that's often the case. It was fun playing with the Beary Christmas stamps & dies set from CTMH.
Of course. . . .I hope you get to play along with us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Hi there and happy Tuesday!
Are you counting your blessings this week? I think I count my blessings quite a bit but I can also have my little pity parties once in a while too. It's pretty much always in regards to the fact that I'm hours away from my kids & grands and during the holidays it's even harder than usual. Well anyway it's always a good distraction to play along with our TMS Design Team and you all!!
Ok, so for card #1 I used a Cuttlebug embossing border folder, a Martha Stewart Butterfly punch and my CTMH Cricut Artitst cartridge for the vellum heart. I also used the CTMH clear shimmer pen all over the butterfly and the heart.
I cut out three hearts of different sizes not knowing the size I would like best. After I finished up I realized that I really should have used the bigger one.
Which brings me to card #2. I was thinking I always tend to choose pretty pastels - I need to make something a little more bold. So I grabbed the two other hearts and a scrap of border paper plus cut out another red heart the next size up and threw it together. I used mini dots to attach the vellum and covered them up with the enamel hearts.
My third card was loosely inspired by the sketch. It was a piece that I embossed "Thanks" on just to practice for a card I did a few weeks back. I lazily used the piece from the other side to die cut a scallop thinking I was just going to toss it. But after making the other two cards and spotting it on my desk, I had a second thought. The nice oversize scalloped circle reminded me of the oversize heart from our sketch so I layered it on a piece of BGP and stuck a butterfly in the middle.
My thanks to Melissa our fearless leader over at TMS for her great sketch and inspiring me to rescue that scrap and turn it into something I can definitely use.
So is there a partially started "something" in your craft space you can rescue and use this week when you play along with us at Tuesday Morning Sketches?

Hello and happy Tuesday once again :) it's time for another really fun sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches #429. Our team is sponsoring this week, the prize is a really cute little Christmas tree stamp and die set.
I treated myself to a little extra me time so I was able to create 3 cards for this sketch. Doing them all so close to the same really saved some time. I got a little wrapped up in it and didn't realize that I should have made the middle section thicker but I was just so happy with my loopy punched (Martha Stewart punch) gold border that I didn't look at the sketch as often as I should have.
I used a retired CTMH stamp and die set then colored with various alcohol markers, I have a few Shin Han, Copic and Prisma and love them all. I wanted to stamp with Charcoal instead of black so I used my Misti tool to stamp so I could re stamp again to freshen up the lines after coloring - gotta love that Misti. I think I needed to let the pink and blue one dry a little more before re stamping but nevertheless I'm ok with how they all turned out.
I hope you get to play along with us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Hello there,
So it's only 16 days till Thanksgiving can you believe it??? I have 3 major birthdays this month so that always makes me procrastinate a bit so far as thinking about Thanksgiving & Christmas.
I really got pinched for time on this card I feel like I could have done better but it was wam bam first try is getting posted!! I was so busy this weekend working on the tile for our guest shower remodel. I feel pretty accomplished even if I do say so myself. The red on the walls is waterproofing.
So here is my card I used digital supplies from one of our frequent sponsors We Are 3. Paper is called Storybook Christmas, and sentiment is Christmas Greetings. is actually a digital shop opened by Bonnie, a former TMS Design Team member! She is sponsoring our challenge this week, the prize is a $15 voucher to the shop (excludes handmade cards).
Thanks so much for stopping by, we would all love to have you play along with us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!
