I set my stop watch and it took me 27 minutes to make this. I'm sure I spent at least 5 minutes of that looking for the hole punch that I wanted to use for the top of the tag. I had watercolored the paper a while back just playing around. For the tag shape I just went through my odds & ends basket and trimmed one side of it and folded over a scrap of my water colored paper for the hole reinforcement, I have a weakness for those, I think they're such a cute little detail.
The stamp is one of my new current CTMH favorites. I used it last week too. The punch for the loopy edge is Martha Stewart, everything else is CTMH, watercolors, watercolor paper, ink and ribbon. Oh but the little epoxy flowers are Doodle Bug from my local SS.
Thanks again & I hope you get to play along with us!
Loving that pretty watercolored background and your decorative tag too. The stickers look cute :)
ReplyDeleteNicely done. I really like your background paper, the lacy looking strip and the cute tag.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! And yay for quick cards!
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to make multiples of Christmas cards recently, so I'm loving quick cards!
Beautiful water color piece. It's the perfect base for this tag.
