Dear Blog, oh how I've missed you and my dear friends too!

I would never have believed that I could let this much time pass in between posts. Oh well what's done is done. Here are some cards I made with the August Stamp of the Month. The textured cardstock is CTMH using Cuttlebug embossing folders. It works great to just layer 2-3 pieces of cardstock so the white core doesn't show through if you're not going to sand the embossed design. But the great part is you have that choice, of sanding then inking or chalking or sanding alone or just solid color.

"You've Got Flair" - July Stamp of the Month

This is a really fun set to work with . I think it would look great in any color. It would be very classy in Chocolate and Vanilla, I'll have to try that combo if I get "caught up" on some of my other stamping. I just love the tiny flower stamp, it's perfect for stamping on ribbon. I've been hording my Clear Tags, they're so neat though, what a great way to really add pizzaz quick and easy.

"Hello Birdie" - Card Kit

Honestly I must live in the Twilight Zone! To think that 10 days has gone by since the last time I posted just blows me away! I made these one night just for fun, I'll try to post with pics sometime soon. Everything is made with the Hello Birdie card kit, so quick fun and cute!

Tickled Pink....SCRAPS!

I had so much fun using up the scraps from the Tickled Pink kit. I made 21 cards in all after completing the 4 scrapbook pages as directed in the brochure. I altered my page just a little by cutting out the patterned paper that would have just been covered up by my photos anyway. I also added card bases and some other scrap Twilight cardstock. Eleven were 2.5 x 3.5, 9 were standard size, 1 was 5 x 7. The bling you see was a Connections Club reward last year. I also used my Cuttlebug, Winter Cozy Accents, White Daisy Grossgrain, Big Pinks and White Daisy flowers.

Mini Binder-Recipe Book

It was so much fun to make this! I used our new Mini 3 Ring Binder, Creative Basics paper and the Recipe Box stamp set. We'll be making these in a couple of my June Hostess Clubs.
